Secrets of our success
A panel of local business owners share the secrets of their successes and the lessons they’ve learned. Expect candid insights and plenty of laughter along the way!
We’re currently in the process of finalising the panelists hence being shrouded in secrecy but confirmed for the evening are:
Fiona Humberstone, founder of design & marketing agency Flourish, co founder of the Grow Your Business Event and Author of Exhibit! How to use exhibitions to grow your business. Somehow she manages to squeeze in a growing family, gardening and cooking and being Chair of the Horsley Network. Just don’t ask her how she does it!
Sally Asling is founder of Surrey Lets and author of Appreciating Angels: one woman’s battle against adversity to discover herself. Sally is an energetic and passionate business woman and strong advocate of social media. Since starting her business less than two years ago Sally’s hard work, knowledge of her subject and sheer determination have propelled her into one of Horsley’s leading letting agents. She’ll be sharing how she did this.
Clare Yarwood-White runs award winning bridal jewellery company Yarwood-White.com. Since starting her business in 2003 Clare has picked up various accolades including being recommended by Vogue and winning numerous awards. Her business is stocked in over 26 locations, including Liberty of London and Luella’s Boudoir in Wimbledon Village. As someone who has had two children in less than two years, Clare knows a thing or two about work-life balance and the demands of juggling a successful business with the needs of your family.
Martin Kitkatt is a partner at Financial Services firm Wyvern. He comes from thoroughbred stock – Head of Private Equity at Deloitte and UK Head of Finance at Anderson. Michael lives in East Horsley and is a well respected local community leader.

Am planning to come to next monday session 21 june @ Barley Mow Pub. I have a studio in West Horsley where I practise and teach Yoga to people interested in slowing their mind down and keeping fit, happy and flexible. Everybody can do it and it suits men and women of all ages ! Brilliant for stress and pressure of daily Life !!
